Dairesse Torres is the founder of August Consulting Group, an author, educator, and growth strategist dedicated to helping people grow with intention, confidence, and purpose. Throughout her career, she has been passionate about equipping individuals at every stage of life with the practical tools, education, and guidance needed to achieve meaningful personal and professional success.

For more than 20 years, Dairesse has worked alongside financial advisors and practice support teams, supporting leadership development, practice management, business growth, operational excellence, team development, and exceptional client experiences. She believes the strongest organizations are built from the inside out, where intentional leadership, engaged teams, and trusted relationships create sustainable growth.

Throughout those same two decades, Dairesse has also mentored professionals navigating career transitions, helping them discover their strengths, communicate their value, and confidently pursue new opportunities. Her experience includes résumé writing, cover letter development, interview preparation, personal branding, first impression strategies, and career coaching designed to help individuals move forward with clarity and confidence.

For nearly a decade, Dairesse has been equally passionate about preparing young adults for life beyond the classroom. Through her Adulteens initiative, she has helped young adults develop the life and career skills needed to enter adulthood with confidence—from creating a first résumé and preparing for interviews to setting goals, building healthy financial habits, understanding workplace expectations, and establishing a strong foundation for long-term success.

Today, Dairesse brings these experiences together through August Consulting Group by creating books, self-guided journals, online courses, and practical educational resources that empower financial advisors, career changers, and Adulteens to grow intentionally, build confidence, and create meaningful success.  Dairesse believes that when people are equipped with the right knowledge, practical tools, and encouragement, there is no limit to what they can achieve.

The program focuses on career readiness, financial responsibility, goal setting, workplace professionalism, confidence, and practical life skills, equipping young adults with the tools they need to transition into adulthood with clarity and purpose.

The 3-to-7 Seconds First Impressions Program is rooted in Dairesse's extensive experience in hiring, onboarding, employment coaching, and career development. The program helps individuals understand the impact of first impressions while developing the confidence, communication skills, and professional presence needed to pursue new opportunities successfully.
